About Jenna

Soprano Jenna Nash has been immersed in the arts all her life growing up on a farm near Mortlach, Saskatchewan. A graduate of the Vocal Performance Degree at Briercrest College and Seminary (‘13) Jenna was heavily involved in the music department in the various choirs, theatre productions, and recitals. Jenna even travelled to New York City with the Briercrest College Singers to perform in Carnegie Hall with the Masterworks Festival Chorus under guest conductor Dr. Bruce Chamberlain. Jenna has studied classical voice with Melissa Wood (MMus) and Dr. Ron de Jager (DMA). Jenna also was a Choir Conductor Intern under Dr. Scott Finch (DMA). Recent roles performed have been Rachel Lynde in Anne of Green Gables, Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music, Yente in Fiddler On The Roof, and Lady Jane in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience. Her experiences are not just limited to classical music and Musical Theatre. Jenna has sung with her sister Megan Nash many times and has performed at various festivals and venues in Saskatchewan including the Mae Wilson Theatre in Moose Jaw, and the Regina Folk Festival in 2016 and 2019. Her voice has appeared in several recordings, most recently on the track “My Own Heart” from Soft Focus Futures (2021), and previously on “Salted Salamanders” from Seeker (2017) by JUNO nominated artist Megan Nash. Jenna was a former Choir Director at St. Andrews United Church in Moose Jaw. She loves sharing her passion for both choral and solo singing. A former voice teacher at both Briercrest and SING like a STAR studio in Moose Jaw, Jenna now has her own studio located in Moose Jaw teaching people of all ages and abilities and believes everyone can learn how to sing.
